Combat Reserved parking in place at three City buildings

The City of Vandalia has installed three “Combat Wounded Reserved” parking space signs in front of three City buildings. One is installed at the Municipal Building, one at the Senior Citizens Center, and one at the Recreation Center.
These signs are just a small token of the City’s gratitude for those injured while actively protecting and defending our freedom and independence.
We’re very proud of the many veterans who call Vandalia home, and we hope these signs make things just a little easier for those wounded in combat in service to our country!
