Garage Sale Weekend 2024 will take place in Vandalia and Butler Township from Thursday, May 16, through Sunday, May 19!

Signage

The City of Vandalia permits one off-site sign advertising your sale. The sign cannot be larger than six square feet, which is basically two feet by three feet. The sign is not permitted in the public right-of-way, which means that tree lawns, utility poles, and landscaped boulevard islands are off-limits. Your best bet is to get permission from a property owner to place your sign on their lawn.

Map & List

Vandalia and Butler Township residents are encouraged to register their garage sales through a link on the Vandalia website.  The City will release an interactive map and a list with all registered sales.
