It is mutually agreed upon between the City of Vandalia Parks and Recreation Department (“Lessor”) and the "Lessee" that 1 (one) space, shall be rented at no cost, for the Vandalia Artful Adventure Day be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM, at the Vandalia Art Park.

23. Contract Conditions

    The Lessor will accept this contract under the following conditions:

    1. The Lessee agrees to decorate their own booth, provide their own tables and chairs, remove all their property promptly at the close of the special event and further agrees not to sell or give away anything or any article not specifically requested or permitted by the Lessor. 

    2. The Lessee agrees to provide an arts & crafts activity for participants to engage in. If the Lessee does not provide an activity, the Lessee will lose their vendor spot for the event.

    3. The Lessee agrees that the location of said space shall be determined by the City of Vandalia.

    4. The Lessee agrees to hold Lessor full and harmless from any liability or damages to Lessee’s workers or property during the setup, operation, or removal of display. 

    5. The Lessee agrees to abide by all rules and policies set by the City of Vandalia. 

    6. The Lessee can begin set-up at 9:00 AM on the day of the event and agrees to be set up and ready to operate by 10:45 AM.
