2. It is mutually agreed upon between the City of Vandalia Parks and Recreation Department (“Lessor”) and the "Lessee" that 1 (one) space, that will be determined by the Lessor, shall be rented at a cost of $50 for the Vandalia Fall Festival to be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM, at the Vandalia Art Park.

27. Contract Conditions

    The Lessor will accept this contract under the following conditions:

    1. The Lessee agrees to provide their own tables and chairs, remove all their property promptly at the close of the special event and further agrees not to sell or give away anything or any article not specifically requested or permitted by the Lessor. 

    2. The Lessee agrees to pay the $50.00 vendor spot fee. The vendor fee must be paid before Saturday, September 30, 2023. Vendor fee can be paid at the Vandalia Recreation Center Front Desk or by calling Aaron Messenger at 937-415-2334. If the vendor does not pay the fee by the deadline, the vendor will be removed from the event. Vendor fees are non-refundable after the deadline.

    3. The Lessee agrees that the location of said space shall be determined by the City of Vandalia.

    4. The Lessee agrees to hold Lessor full and harmless from any liability or damages to Lessee’s workers or property during the setup, operation, or removal of display. 

    5. The Lessee agrees to abide by all rules and policies set by the City of Vandalia. 

    6. The Lessee can begin set-up at 10:00 AM on the day of the event and agrees to be set up and ready to operate by 11:45 AM.

    7. Payment for vendor spots are non-refundable. Under certain circumstances, including, but not limited to, inclement weather, sickness/death in family, and other unforeseeable circumstances, a refund may be issued. The City has the right to issue or withhold a refund in these circumstances.
