The City of Vandalia is seeking proposals of qualifications for the identification of facilities infrastructure improvements on a guaranteed performance contracting basis in accordance with the City’s municipal charter, ordinances, or any other existing authority, which is also consistent with Ohio Revised Code 717.02. The ultimate goal is to select a qualified firm that will provide the final design, implementation, project management, performance monitoring and verification, and ongoing first party performance guarantee of facilities infrastructure improvements through one or more phases of work, to be implemented at the City’s sole discretion.
The City’s purpose of issuing the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to identify and select a qualified architect, professional engineer, energy services company, contractor, or other person experienced in the design and implementation of energy conservation measures for an energy conservation report to perform the implementation of a Facilities Infrastructure Project.
Respondents must be competent, qualified and capable of providing comprehensive building management and energy services, including, but not limited to, the performance of energy consumption audits, the design, selection, and installation of energy efficient systems, ongoing support and training services, possible assistance in securing financing for the transaction, and a written guarantee of savings.
Request for Qualifications packets are available on the City’s website – www.vandaliaohio.org. Please direct questions to Mr. Steve Clark, Parks & Recreation Director, via email at or by phone at 937-898-5891. The deadline for submitting a proposal will be Wednesday, August 18 at 5:00 p.m.
The city reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all proposals.
