The Fire Prevention Bureau (FPB) is charged with community risk reduction, this occurs on several different educational fronts.
Traditionally the FPB has been focused on educating and encourage everyone to be “fire safe”, which is now just one service they provide, for a full list of services see the FPB Service Menu Tab.
The FPB use community outreach and education to deliver this risk reduction message. There are several resources available on line, please see our Outreach and Education Tab for assistance obtaining information on any of the Division of Fire’s community risk reduction programs.
To find out about our FREE smoke/carbon monoxide detector programs, to report a fire/safety hazard/issue, or to ask a Fire Code questions please call the FPB at (937) 898-2261
