The Vandalia Parks and Recreation Department administers a Youth Scholarship Fund for Vandalia-Butler students who may need financial assistance to access programs such as Youth Sports Athletic Leagues, CampRec Summer Camp, and a Youth Membership at the Vandalia Recreation Center. These need-based scholarships will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis.
To be eligible for a scholarship, the applicant MUST be a student in the Vandalia-Butler School District. The applicant also must submit a letter from the school district indicating that he or she receives reduced or free lunches.
